Tips For Beginners

In salsa classes are divided in levels, which should be used determine the difficulty of the class, and the types of techniques taught at that level. From easiest to hardest they are:

Beginners, Improvers, Intermediate and Advanced. The most important advice for starting salseros is:

1) Do not rush though levels of class. Salsa takes time to learn, and moving onto a new level of class, means moving onto new techniques (and not going over those of the previous level) !

2) Don't be afraid to ask for advice. If you are not sure about why something is not working, or you want to move up to the next level of class. Ask your instructor. Our goal is not to keep you in a specific level of class, but to get you dancing and having fun!
